Planted a new bed of asparagus yesterday (Sunday, April 26, 2015). 10 plants of Mary Washington and 10 plants of Jersey Knight Giant.  Should be producing in 2 years and last for another 20.

Checked all three hives as all my bees died over the winter – Had to order three new packages. One hive with lots of brood! One hive I had to release the queen as she was still in her cage and the other hive no sign of brood and I could not find the queen (I am sure she is still in there – she is marked).  I will check again this coming weekend.

Also will try to keep this log / blog updated regularly.
